ABOUT US
In the summer of 2022, Keith Luck, the owner of Barberton Tree Service and Mulch Makers of Ohio Inc., decided to take over the legacy of Woodland Mulch in Akron, Ohio. We pride ourselves on the ability to continue building the business the former owners put hard work into growing!
The Chiofolo & Runner Families formed Woodland in 2007 with values of providing high-quality products, and in growing long-standing relationships with the landscapers and homeowners who stopped in. As part of the Mulch Makers family of companies, we will continue this legacy, and hope to maintain those valued relationships well into the future.

​Our customers are able to drop off any natural waste at our yard during normal business hours.

We are not able to accept anything that has been painted, treated or stained. This includes plywood, fences, decking material and landscape timbers. We also do not accept stumps or stump grindings due to the way that we separate and recycle materials.
